If Multitrac is OnTrac's workhorse platform, Easytrac is its compact champion: a compact part-turn electric actuator with high-accuracy output, available in on/off (EOE) and modulating (EME) configurations plus an explosion-proof version, with a rich option set including a sophisticated control head with a colour LCD screen and non-intrusive IR connectivity. Torque spans 50-3,000 Nm, with a Full-Turn version up to 50 Nm and thrust up to 6,000 N. Around the hardware sit two digital tools — Smartrac (PC setup/diagnostics software with engineer-level access) and Cloudtrac (a permanent QR code on every actuator giving instant access to its own manuals, datasheets and wiring diagram) — plus five serial communication options (Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, Profibus DP/PA, Foundation Fieldbus, HART). Data compiled from the OnTrac official website.

| Model | Torque | Time | Power (two columns per source) |
|---|---|---|---|
| EME/EOE 50 | 50 Nm | 11-22 s | 40 W / 20 W |
| EME/EOE 100 | 100 Nm | 11-34 s | 100 W / 40 W |
| EME/EOE 200 | 200 Nm | 22-34 s | 40 W / 100 W |
| EME/EOE 400 | 400 Nm | 29-43 s | 150 W / 90 W |
| EME/EOE 600 | 600 Nm | 29-43 s | 180 W / 140 W |
| EME/EOE 800 | 800 Nm | 57-62 s | 150 W / 140 W |
| EME/EOE 1000 | 1,000 Nm | 57-62 s | 150 W / 140 W |
| EOE 2000 | 2,000 Nm | 102 s | 200 W |
| EOE 3000 | 3,000 Nm | 102 s | 250 W |
Note: EME = modulating, EOE = on/off; the 2000 and 3000 sizes are on/off only; both power columns are transcribed as printed on the official site.
The official site also provides cut-away, front-panel, controls and infrared-setup illustrations, emphasising the actuator's "high accuracy output".
Smartrac is OnTrac's PC-based system for digitally communicating directly with the actuators, giving engineer-level access to all settings and data the actuator contains. It requires a standard PC (Windows 10 or above) and a dedicated RS485 cable. Five feature groups:
Every Ontrac actuator comes with a permanent QR code attached. Scanning it connects you to the Ontrac Cloud, which holds that specific actuator's technical details and parameters — no special tools or proprietary software needed. You can download instructions, datasheets and the actuator-specific wiring diagram. For setup, commissioning and fault finding this saves considerable time and ensures the right connections are made — lost information is a thing of the past. The official demo (MOE708, SN 78114T1406697) shows the cloud record: product type, serial number, power supply AC380V, duty mode S2, speed 92 rpm, max switch-off torque 100 Nm, input signal 24VDC, output signal 4-20mA, bus protocol Profibus, and more.
Serial communications are available through an optional communications board for both Multitrac and Easytrac actuators:
| Protocol | Key specifications |
|---|---|
| Modbus RTU | Up to 38.4 kbit/s (factory default 9.6 kbit/s, max 1.5 km between nodes); master/slave query-response polling with CRC |
| Modbus TCP (Ethernet) | Standard RJ45 interface; remote monitoring and parameter configuration |
| Profibus DP / PA | DP up to 1.5 Mbit/s; PA 31.25 kbit/s; active bus termination fitted; RS485 Type A connections |
| Foundation Fieldbus | Dedicated card for 31.25 kbit/s fieldbus |
| HART | Works over conventional 4-20 mA wiring |
Two field-mounted universal items round out the range: a Universal 24VDC power supply and a universal control interface (110/220V AC to 24V DC) — easing on-site power and signal matching.
