The JSY-BK conditioning orifice plate measures the flow of gas, steam or liquid in pipelines, widely used in petroleum, chemical, metallurgical and power industries.
Designed and made to GB/T 2624-93 and verified to JJG 640-94, it needs no wet-flow calibration: wide application range, simple structure, low cost, stable performance, easy installation, use and maintenance.

Orifice plate construction and pressure tappings
Construction and tapping arrangements as shown above:
Installed in a circular pipe, the orifice forces the axial flow ν1 through the minimum section of the restriction, where mean velocity peaks at ν2, creating a differential pressure across the plate. Derived from Bernoulli's equation, the basic flow equation is:
qm = (C/√(1-β⁴)) · ε · (π/4) · d² · √(2·ΔP·ρ₁) qv = qm/ρ₁
where qm, qv — mass flow (kg/s) and volume flow (m³/s); C — discharge coefficient; ε — expansibility factor; d — orifice bore, m; β — diameter ratio, β=d/D; ρ₁ — fluid density, kg/m³; ΔP — differential pressure, Pa.
4.1 Measuring range:
4.2 Model designation: a. JSY-BK (JSY — flow throttling device; BK — throttling element type); b. tapping form: -H — with annular chamber.
4.3 Supply scope: connection fittings to match the chosen tapping arrangement; constructions manufactured to user requirements.
