Bellofram supplies its advanced actuators in volume to internationally renowned power-station equipment vendors such as GE, Siemens, Alstom and Russia's nuclear construction group. The company today runs four production and assembly bases — in the USA, Italy, the Czech Republic and Singapore — with 20,000 m² of manufacturing floor, producing over 60,000 electric actuators and hundreds of thousands of valves per year. In 1996 Bellofram set up a service centre in China for technical service and spare-part supply.
Bellofram has devoted itself to electric actuator R&D and production since 1950. With a 400-strong engineering staff and annual output of 60,000+ actuators, it is a giant of the industry — with thermal and nuclear power as its flagship segments. The electric valves of China's Tianwan NPP and India's Kudankulam NPP both use its products, under contracts worth about EUR 28 million.
The product range covers miniature, linear-stroke, quarter-turn, part-turn, multi-turn, lever-output, nuclear-island and conventional-island types, with explosion protection to EEx d IIC T6 and ingress protection IP55/IP65/IP67/IP68 — a breadth and professionalism that leads the industry. ISO 9001 certification was passed in 1995.
The ZPA series uses an advanced planetary gear drive: high efficiency, excellent positioning and long life. Backed by this technology Bellofram solemnly undertakes a two-year warranty and a 30-year service life for the complete actuator.
Bellofram actuators serve power stations, metallurgy, petrochemicals, papermaking, wastewater plants, cement and food plants. Features of the ZPA actuator:
