Valve Connection Flange Dimension Table: F03-F60 Complete (ISO 5210/5211)

source:original    date:2026-10-24

Matching an actuator or gearbox to a valve always ends at the flange — the F07, F10, F14, F16, F25, F30, F35, F40, F48 and F60 codes of ISO 5210/5211 (valve actuator mountings), each pinned to a fixed set of dimensions: flange diameter ød1, bolt circle ød2, spigot ød3, thread spec and bolt count. This page carries the complete F03–F60 table (14 codes) for sizing, drawing and field checks — bookmark it and stop digging through the standard.

Notes: h1 = max spigot height, h2 = max flange thickness; holes are threaded (not through), standard coarse pitch.

2. How to use this table

2.1 Actuator/gearbox side (input flange)

Bolting a gearbox to an actuator means matching actuator output flange = gearbox input flange: identical codes align holes and spigot perfectly. Typical actuator outputs: F07 (small), F10/F14 (medium), F16/F25 (large). Our input coverage: GS F07–F30, IW F10–F25, GK/BST F10–F30, LE F10–F16 — every major actuator brand has its step.

2.2 Valve side (output flange)

Gearbox output matches the valve flange: F10–F16 for small/mid butterflies and balls, F25–F35 for large bores, F40–F60 for very large and heavy valves. Non-standard flange faces (legacy valves) switch to the bracket + linkage scheme (GF bracket-type with QJ ball hinges).

2.3 Field identification trick

No drawing? Three caliper readings reverse the code: flange diameter ød1 (most direct), diagonal bolt-hole center distance (gives ød2), spigot diameter ød3. Match all three against the table and the code is pinned.

3. FAQ

Q: My actuator outputs F10 and the valve takes F14 — can they work?
A: Yes — that's precisely what a gearbox bridges: input F10 (to the actuator), output F14 (to the valve). Our standard/optional output combinations exist for this (e.g. GS100.3: input F14, output F16 std / F14 opt).

Q: How do codes relate to torque?
A: Bigger codes carry more. Rule of thumb: F07–F10 up to ~2,000 N·m; F14–F16 to the 10,000 N·m class; F25–F35 for 10,000–80,000 N·m; F40+ for 100,000 N·m-class heavy duty — always confirm against each series' selection table.

Q: Through holes or threaded?
A: Threaded per the standard (M specs in the table); if your plant standardizes through-bolted flanges, custom drilling can be arranged.

Summary

  • Fourteen codes, seven parameters each — ød1/ød2/ød3/thread/h1/h2/bolt count in one view;
  • Three reverse-lookup numbers: diameter, bolt circle, spigot — caliper them and the code is fixed;
  • Different codes on the two ends? That's the gearbox's job — input matches the actuator, output matches the valve.
