Function and application: The SMC/GSQ series is a high-speed part-turn valve electric actuator for fast-closing quarter-turn valves — ball valves, butterfly valves — and motorised dampers. It is of combined construction: an SMC multi-turn actuator mounted on a GSQ part-turn reduction gear.
Ambient conditions, temperature, humidity, altitude and protection class match the corresponding SMC products, as do technical performance and the electrical control schemes.
