Changzhou Shinaituoke (SND) Power Station Measurement & Control Technology Co., Ltd. (Changzhou, Jiangsu) specializes in electric actuators for power-station auxiliaries, offering intelligent, standard and compact electric actuators/devices with matching control cabinets. Note: SND (Shinaituoke) is a local Changzhou brand unrelated to Schneider Electric of France. This article covers the intelligent families; standard and compact types follow in this column.

SND-Z Series: Intelligent Multi-Turn (On/Off)

For globe valves, gate valves, throttle valves and sluice gates.

Size range: SND-Z5 / Z10 / Z15 / Z20 / Z30 / Z40 / Z45 / Z60 / Z90 / Z120 / Z180 / Z250 / Z350 / Z500 / Z800 / Z1000 / Z1400 / Z1600 / Z1800 / Z2000 (torque steps; up to Z2000). An explosion-proof SND-Z series (suffix /BS, e.g. SND-Z5-18/BS) and an SND3-Z series are also available.

SND-ZTD Series: Intelligent Multi-Turn (Modulating)

STZ Series: Intelligent (listed under the compact group)

Sizes such as STZ4000-0.65/30, STZ6300-0.65/60, STZ10000-0.8/50, STZ12000-0.8/100, STZ16000-0.8/50 and STZ20000-0.8/100 (number codes for torque/thrust and speed/stroke time; see factory data for selection).
